Chapters

Perhaps because of the longevity that many in my family experience, I have been gifted with the perspective of a long life. Whatever we are doing now, it shall eventually pass and other things will replace it. In the middle of the joys and stresses of raising little ones I try to remind myself how it's just one chapter. Just as the craziness of cramming for finals is gone from my life, so too shall the pitter patter soon fade. I may spend as many years with grown children out of my home as I do with them in. This blog is about living and sharing the chapter were in. For time shall soon take these moments from us and give us new ones that may be better, worse, similar or vastly different. None of us knows where the journey will take us. The best we can do is try to make what is marked in this chapter something we are proud to look back upon. So I shall also cherish the moment as I live it, for I am only given one chance with today.
