Yesterday we had the opportunity to go back out to the dairy farm and we jumped at the chance. Or maybe we ran for it?
We did not get a chance to actually milk (even our bovine sisters have to deal with plugged ducts and poor latch issues apparently) but we did get lot of opportunity to feed the already milked.
Everyone got in on the action and worked for quite a while.
She looks right at home on that ranch gate doesn't she. Right down to the John Deer boots!
Later we headed to the Nature Center for some bike riding action.
I have always loved this playground with the big log beams and the munchkin was loving posing for gratuitous play pictures.
Which led to this fabulous picture that was worth a hundred shots to get!
The Bug and a friend loved playing in the river bed with it's puddles...
and fun discoveries.
I am also loving the practicality of this tennis skirt!
She just loved filling it with her treasures.
There is no love for the invasive species though. (Down with the Zebra Mussel!)
The munchkin so loves her new purple warmies (especially when she gets to wear them over her purple dance costume and go to the library) that I made the leftover sweater pieces into this.
A hoodie vest to match.
Isn't she just adorable! (And bearing a striking resemblance to Daddy's sister in this picture.)
In the end, there really is a lot of love to go around!
