My 50th Posting

I tried to come up with something special or memorable to commemorate this posting. 50 posts in 25 days, wow. (I might just be a bit obsessed.) Since I was completely failing to be inspired and I really want to move on to my Monday Daybook, I decide to share something truly strange, a little disturbing and yet sort of charming instead. I found this creature on Lime and Violets Daily Chum while trying to find inspiration, close enough.

This . . . creature is strangley charming. I bet kids would love this, and it would make a great conversation piece at playdates! :)

10. Only for today, I will have no fears. In particular, I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful and to believe in goodness. Indeed, for twelve hours I can certainly do what might cause me consternation were I to believe I had to do it all my life.

Saint Joseph Prayer for the Unemployed

Saint Joseph, thou wert thyself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my family. Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my head and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Help me to guard against bitterness and discouragement,so that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.
