Whatever we are doing now, it shall eventually pass and other things will replace it. This blog is about fully living and sharing the chapter were in. Included within these postings will be moments of daily frenzy, knitting, sewing, crocheting, literary indulgences, kitchen creations, fiber love, faith, family and friends. Enjoy!

Just SoYou Know
In case you are ever itching to get into the kitchen at 4 when your dinner plans don't need to start till 5, there is hope. Even when you spent half the day cleaning the whole thing up and have everything sparkly and aren't in the mood to mess it up by baking and creating more dishes. Even when you simply can't start cooking early (fish does not do well to be cooked either longer or earlier) there is still a solution. Just so you know, if you are ever stuck in this situation, there is hope, and it is even a very helpful solution that discourages you from getting stuck in this situation again! Isn't that nice! So are you dying to know the great and wonderful fixer for an extra hour in the kitchen when you just don't want to make a mess? The amazing inspiration that struck humble little me when faced with this very dilemma? SOS the oven. There I have passed it on. It seems so little sitting there in print. Don't judge it based upon that though, I can personally promise that I have fully tested this trick and it lives up to it's promises perfectly. It really does take up a whole hour, creates no extra mess (other than the black gunk under your fingernails, but that doesn't count since it's not in the kitchen) and assures that you will not soon repeat the feeling of wanting to get into the kitchen earlier than appropriate. (Personally I will run screaming for the sewing machine, computer or bed if this ever strikes again!) An added bonus is of course the sparkly oven, but that pales in comparison to the other more tangible benefits, don't you think?
