Cooking With Daddy

My DH is not often home for meal preparation, or meals other than dinner for that matter. This morning he unexpectedly found himself with the day off and at home. The girls promptly took advantage of this fact by dragging him from bed before sunrise (still 2 hours later then he normally rises) and requesting pancakes, a special daddy treat.
After donning aprons they were hard at work concocting a family favorite. (DH is sporting his new grilling apron. The embroidery turned out nice, perhaps I should have ironed it though?)




The girls were happy to follow the advice and plant some kisses.










In the end we had an impressive stack of daddy sized pancakes. One is defiantly a meal! What a treat, thank you daddy!
